Backspin:  To create backspin,  hit the cueball below centre with follow thro.  Clean the table regularly to avoid it getting slower. It may also be an idea, when cleaning the table, you give the balls a wash.

Stance:  If the cue turns on follow through – sometimes this can be caused with your body getting in the way – try standing a little more side on.

Tip Tip!: The usual cause with a tip wearing down on one side more than the other, is holding the cue in the same place when you play your shot.   A lot of people have this problem, including myself.   Keep on top of this by using sandpaper to keep it level.
